In 2012 John Merrell is a full-time employee at Boeing currently assigned to precision systems for the 787 Dreamliner program. This follows two years as a consultant with former employment since 1990 at Kodak, Panasonic, Thomson Multimedia (the parent of GE and RCA Electronics and now known as Technicolor), and China based XOCECO OEM-ODM Electronics. His international work provides Executive Project Manager experience across consumer electronic, commercial precision hardware, digital imaging, and telecommunications as a Resource Sourcing & Product Planning Manager with a partnership portfolio on-site in more than a dozen countries. His products span more than 1500 SKUs, have generated over $17 billion in sales, and include Smart HDTV imaging displays, Public Alert™ communication hardware, mobile electronics, studio equipment, gaming consoles, remote controls, musical and audio gear, clone electronics, and military and medical imaging hardware.  He's created and marketed electronics sold under more than three dozen brand names and is a corporate product inventor with multiple U.S. and international patents. His marketing and communications work extensively cover both the private and public sectors.
